About the role
The Process Control Specialist – Metallurgy will support the development of the Hermosa Taylor Project, which is moving from detailed engineering design into construction of the processing plant. This position is based in the Tucson office and focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operation of metallurgical process control systems.
Key responsibilities
- Review engineering documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure vendor data for mechanical equipment aligns with process design criteria, basis of design, and mass‑energy balances.
- Assist with the design, implementation and maintenance of process control systems to optimise operations and ensure safety.
- Configure and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMI).
Required profile
- Engineering background with experience in metallurgy or process control environments.
