Process and Technology Engineer (E3)

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines.
• Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve difficult process engineering issues.
• Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports.
• Interact with customers to resolve process engineering issues/problems with limited supervision.
• Measure film properties and interpret data.
• Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited supervision.
• Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues; lead project teams as needed.

Required profile

• Master's or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of material properties, phase transformations, and microstructure‑performance relationships.
• Familiarity with failure analysis techniques such as SEM, EDS, and XRD.
• Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic production environment.
