About the role

We are seeking a California‑licensed attorney with at least three years of experience to manage probate and trust administration on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

Prepare petitions for letters of administration, statutory notifications, inventories, accountings, Heggstad petitions, and distributions.
Advise trustees on fiduciary duties and California Probate Code compliance.
Utilize summary procedures such as Small Estate Affidavits and Spousal Property Petitions to transfer assets efficiently.
Handle limited conservatorship matters, including care‑plan coordination, court investigator reports, and annual status updates.

Required profile

California‑licensed attorney.
Minimum three years of experience in probate and trust administration.
Proven ability to advise trustees and manage limited conservatorship cases.

Required skills

Legal drafting of probate and trust documents.
Knowledge of California Probate Code.
Experience with Heggstad petitions and summary probate procedures.
Handling limited conservatorship paperwork and reporting.
