PRN General Anesthesiologist (Physician)

About the role

Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible General Anesthesiologists to join its expanding staff under a PRN (as‑needed) arrangement. In collaboration with department clinical staff, the physician will provide and coordinate patient care, adhering to Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork and Excellence. Selected anesthesiologists will perform up to 75 % of cases independently, with the remaining cases shared with residents and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). Both new graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be comfortable caring for complex patients undergoing challenging surgical procedures within a tertiary‑care referral center that handles more than 52,000 cases annually.
