Private Tax Manager – Chinese Business Network

About the role

PwC Private is seeking a Private Tax Manager to join the Chinese Business Network team. You will support privately‑owned companies, entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth individuals with tax compliance, planning and advisory services across the full business life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory and compliance services to private businesses and family enterprises.
• Analyse complex tax issues, develop recommendations and communicate concise solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address wealth management, cash‑flow, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.
• Use data and insights to inform decisions and support client outcomes.
• Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and professional standards.
• Coach junior staff, promote continuous learning and drive team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience in tax advisory for private entities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and continuous professional development.
