Private Client Advisor (Underwriting Associate)

About the role

As a Private Client Advisor on the Client Advisory team, you will work with high‑net‑worth individuals to assess their risk exposures, review existing coverages, and recommend tailored insurance solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex risk landscapes with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client exposures, loss histories, and current policies to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Present accurate market data and insurance options from multiple carriers.
• Provide proactive, day‑to‑day service via in‑person meetings, phone, or email.
• Gather detailed information on risk management needs and financial loss tolerance.
• Develop and present renewal proposals and annual advisory reviews.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure comprehensive coverage.
• Ensure all activities comply with industry laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years personal‑lines insurance experience serving high‑net‑worth clients.
• Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
• Strong client‑service orientation with ability to manage expectations.
• Willingness to travel for client and company meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CPRIA (optional).
