Private Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Care

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing personal care, household support, and companionship to adults in their homes across Tampa and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and give medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience in caregiving or related field.
• Current HHA certificate (40‑hour course) or CNA license, or at least one year of hands‑on caregiver experience.
• Valid BLS Certified CPR certification from an approved organization.
• Successful Level II Background Check as required by Florida regulations.
