Printing Press Support Officer

About the role

CACI is seeking a printing press operator to join an important mission, providing the chance to gain additional experience in a unique environment. The position is full time, regular, with no travel required, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to start.

Key responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate process-specific printing press machines and equipment
• Maintain and improve the presses, processes, systems and products, including preventative maintenance
• Conduct quality control on the presses and resulting products according to established procedures and standards

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Knowledge of and experience with printing press operations, including digital, screen printing, gravure, flexographic, small offset and large sheeted presses, and letterpress, lithography, digital and ink-jet techniques
• Ability to research and analyze solutions to operational challenges, reducing risks
• Project and process management experience within budget and on time, independently or in a team
• Analytic, problem-solving skills, excellent hand dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Detail-oriented, able to read drawings, production schedules and work routings
