Principal Solution Consultant – PI System & Operational Transformation

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a senior, customer‑facing Principal Solution Consultant to help industrial customers expand their vision beyond a single solution and connect data to broader operational transformation outcomes. This strategic, consultative position focuses on shaping customer vision, improving discovery quality, and influencing account strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to shape account strategy and identify expansion opportunities in strategic accounts.
• Use PI System as a foundation for consultative conversations that uncover broader operational and digital transformation needs.
• Lead early‑ to mid‑stage customer engagements, including discovery, solution visioning, and value‑based positioning.
• Identify whitespace for AVEVA’s operations portfolio and CONNECT within existing and new customers.
• Build compelling solution narratives and ROI‑focused messaging for operations and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor other solution consultants and provide leadership on consultative selling and account strategy.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, operational technology, or industrial software.
• Strong business‑leader communication and presentation skills with ability to influence account strategy.
• Comfortable engaging with operations leaders, digital transformation leaders, and C‑level executives.
• Willingness to travel up to 33% across the Americas.
