Principal Software Engineer – Product Security

About the role

SentiLink is a fast‑growing fintech that stops hundreds of thousands of fraud attempts daily. As a Principal Software Engineer in Product Security you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable systems while partnering with engineering, legal and compliance teams. The role blends deep technical work with strategic security planning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build internal security tooling from scratch, including agent‑based tools, code analysis, dynamic scanning and assessment utilities.
• Identify vulnerabilities across SentiLink’s AWS stack, covering application code, cloud configurations and integration points.
• Develop AI‑assisted and agent‑based tooling to scale offensive security testing.
• Build and maintain security automation that improves detection, response and remediation.
• Conduct hands‑on penetration testing and vulnerability research on infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response and regular response testing.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or software engineering with a security focus.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++) and one higher‑level language (Python, TypeScript).
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as IAM, EKS, RDS, networking and managed services.
• Proven ability to design, ship and operate production software end‑to‑end.
• Experience building tooling for penetration testing, vulnerability assessment or red‑team activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on ambiguous problems.
