Principal Services Business Development – Co-Brand

About the role

The Principal, Services Business Development – Co-Brand leads the end‑to‑end Services relationship for Mastercard’s co‑brand partners in the United States. This senior, individual‑contributor role drives Services revenue, expands client engagement, and scales high‑impact solutions across the partnership portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow the Services P&L for a set of U.S. co‑brand relationships.
• Act as General Manager for all Services work delivered to clients, ensuring cohesive execution that aligns with corporate priorities.
• Expand existing engagements and originate new opportunities by positioning Mastercard Services solutions.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, business case development, contracting, negotiation, and kickoff.
• Partner closely with dedicated CAMs to align targets, strategy, and execution as “One Mastercard.”
• Deliver executive‑level pitches and presentations tailored to senior audiences.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to define scope, solve problems, and ensure successful execution.
• Coach and develop team members while contributing to thought leadership and internal best practices.
• Support COE and NAM BD workstreams to expand with current customers and win new business.

Required profile

• Significant consultative B2B sales experience, ideally in professional services, SaaS, data & analytics, or loyalty.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
