Principal Salesforce Consulting Engineer

About the role

You will enhance and maintain the Salesforce platform that powers critical sales and customer service functions. The focus is on Service Cloud, driving efficiency, growth, and superior customer experiences across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, especially Service Cloud features such as Cases, Entitlements, Service Console, Omni‑Channel and Knowledge.
• Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components to meet complex business needs.
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs and scheduled jobs following best practices and governor limits.
• Configure Service Cloud tools including Email‑to‑Case, Web‑to‑Case, CTI integrations, Live Agent/Chat.
• Integrate Salesforce with third‑party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and middleware.
• Create automated workflows with Flow Builder, Process Builder and Approval Processes.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain documentation and enforce coding standards.
• Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity using Data Loader and Workbench.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues and stay current with three annual Salesforce releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, developing and deploying custom Salesforce solutions.
• Strong understanding of Service Cloud functionality and best‑practice development patterns.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
