Principal Procurement Manager

About the role

Vertice is seeking a Principal Procurement Manager to lead SaaS procurement for its most strategic accounts. You will work closely with C‑suite stakeholders to design sourcing strategies, negotiate with key vendors, and manage supplier relationships throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own service delivery for a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring high‑impact outcomes.
• Support private‑equity relationships by contributing to the sales pipeline through exceptional customer delivery.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand technology strategy, purchase objectives and requirements.
• Manage key SaaS partner relationships for the company’s largest spend categories.
• Implement enterprise‑wide sourcing strategies that balance innovation with best practice.
• Mentor junior team members to foster a high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and commercial change in SaaS procurement.
• Strong communication skills, able to influence C‑suite and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into sourcing plans.
• Experience managing complex vendor negotiations and renewals.
