About the role

Invesco is seeking a Principal for its Portfolio Services team to provide expert support across global operations. The role involves addressing complex, cross‑region business concerns, resolving critical production issues, and acting as a subject‑matter expert on cash‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide solutions and recommendations for complex, cross‑functional, cross‑vendor business challenges.
• Assist in resolving critical production issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support and guide colleagues in day‑to‑day operations and production support tasks.
• Liaise with Investments, Compliance, Custodians, Fund Accounting Agents, Transfer Agents, outsourcing vendors and other global stakeholders.
• Research, analyse, implement, document and train on new business requirements, regulatory changes and system implementations.
• Develop and execute team plans covering business, production and organisational priorities.
• Represent IDS Portfolio Services as a subject‑matter expert in global projects.
• Facilitate consensus‑building discussions and collaborate with cross‑functional project teams.
• Establish and refine a global support and oversight model while addressing regional needs.
• Document standard operating procedures and ensure cross‑training across the global team.
• Perform independent research and analysis of financial statements and operational risks.

Required profile

• Proven ability to support and advise on complex, cross‑region and cross‑functional business issues.
• Experience in resolving critical production incidents and providing production support.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Capability to lead research, analysis and implementation of new regulatory or system requirements globally.
• Excellent communication and consensus‑building abilities in a global, multi‑disciplinary environment.
