Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine

About the role

Fenway Health is seeking a board‑certified MD or DO in Internal Medicine to join its Primary Care department in Boston, MA. The physician will provide patient‑centered, trauma‑informed primary care to a diverse population, advancing the organization’s mission of health equity and social justice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, incorporating LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other underserved communities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacists, and care coordinators.
• Provide affirming, gender‑inclusive care and integrate services such as HIV treatment, behavioral health, and telehealth.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research and education efforts.

Required profile

• MD or DO, licensed or license‑eligible in Massachusetts.
• Commitment to culturally competent, community‑focused care.
• Passion for serving LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized populations.
• Experience in community health, public health, or trauma‑informed settings is highly valued.
