Primary Care Physician – 65 Plus

About the role

We are seeking dedicated family medicine, internal medicine or geriatric physicians who are passionate about providing comprehensive primary care to seniors aged 65 and older. The role focuses on holistic, patient‑centered care within Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus, a collaborative environment that values extended patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain small patient panels to deliver focused, individualized care and thorough consultations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes for senior patients.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay at the forefront of geriatric care practices.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for accurate patient management.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible in family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics.
• Commitment to improving quality of life for elderly patients.
• Willingness to work in an integrated health‑care delivery model and adhere to Ochsner’s values of patient first, compassion, integrity, inclusivity, excellence, and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record platform.
