Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the role

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join its Maintenance department. The role focuses on performing scheduled maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety in a high‑volume packaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned.
• Identify and report safety deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Support overtime and shift flexibility to meet production demands.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in a mechanical field.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Basic desktop computer knowledge for logging maintenance work.
• Familiarity with safety standards and ability to define safety deficiencies.
• Formal technical training (preferred) and industrial work experience.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed.
