Prevailing Wage Service Technician

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Prevailing Wage Service Technician to maintain the physical standards of its residential properties. You will ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas are safe, functional, and presentable for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, and coordination with vendors.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and timely.
• Maintain common areas and grounds by cleaning, pressure‑washing, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety, policy, and code standards.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors, and supervisors.
