About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of its community properties. This position focuses on daily upkeep of common areas, supporting the service team, and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and clean common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Clear trash from vacant units before make‑ready, transport waste to dumpsters, and keep storage areas tidy.
• Perform minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks per property policy and verify pool gate functionality meets safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning, lifting, and outdoor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
