Prescribing Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (1099) – Reading, PA

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking board‑certified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide whole‑person mental health care to children, teens, and young adults in Reading, Pennsylvania. The role involves evidence‑based medication management delivered through video intake appointments and follow‑up visits, with the flexibility of a 1099 contractor arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60‑minute intake and regular follow‑up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal treatment planning.
• Develop patient‑centered treatment plans, document recommendations, and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide evidence‑based care through 30‑minute video intake appointments and regular follow‑ups for children, teens, and young adults.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program or an accredited Physician Assistant program with certification.
• Unrestricted state license and active DEA license (preferred).
• Minimum two years of clinical practice, preferably with experience treating minors.
• Office space in Reading, PA to see patients in‑person (optional virtual options available).
• Full‑time U.S. residency.
