Prescribing Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (1099) – Oxford, PA

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, part of Lyra Health, is expanding its provider network to deliver evidence‑based mental health care for children, teens and young adults. As a contract Child and Adolescent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant you will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications and provide 30‑minute video intake and follow‑up appointments. The role blends telehealth with in‑person visits from an office you maintain in Oxford, PA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through 60‑minute intake and regular follow‑up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal treatment planning.
• Develop patient‑centered treatment plans, document recommendations, communicate with patients, and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications.
• Follow clinical best‑practice guidelines, emphasizing measurement‑based care, risk minimization and benefit maximization.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CCNE) program or an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC‑PA) with PANCE certification; preferred additional psychiatry qualifications.
• Unrestricted state license and active DEA license (preferred).
• Minimum two years of clinical practice, preferably with experience treating minors.
• Office space in Oxford, PA, enabling in‑person patient visits.
• Ability to treat a full spectrum of mental health diagnoses and severity levels.
• Full‑time U.S. residency.
