Preschool & School Age Sports & Enrichment Instructor

About the role

A youth enrichment coach is needed to teach a variety of programs for children from 18 months through elementary school. Instructors teach at least two of the programs listed below, and the position is part-time, 15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with morning, afternoon and evening hours available.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Amazing Athletes, introducing young children to the fundamentals of 10 different sports
• Teach Super Soccer Stars, age-appropriate soccer skills that build confidence, teamwork and a love of the game
• Lead introductory karate classes (Karate Zoo) focused on discipline, respect, coordination and self-confidence
• Teach upbeat, energetic dance classes (Hip Hop Dance)
• Run hands-on STEM and medical-themed activities (Little Medical School) that spark curiosity
• Travel between program locations and work short shifts

Required profile

• Loves working with children ages 18 months through elementary school
• Positive, energetic and outgoing personality
• Comfortable leading groups of children independently
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to program locations
