Presales Customer Success Consultant

About the role

As a Solution Consultant within LexisNexis Legal & Professional, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal sales teams, helping organisations unlock the value of data, APIs and AI‑enabled technologies. You will partner with customers to design and implement enterprise‑scale data and API solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic sales opportunities by assessing technical feasibility and recommending solution approaches.
• Partner with customers to design data and API solutions that enable analytics, AI, research and risk‑management objectives.
• Guide customers through API use‑case development, internal approval processes and implementation planning.
• Design and recommend API‑driven integrations that embed LexisNexis content into customer workflows and technology environments.
• Provide technical guidance on data ingestion, enrichment, analytics and AI/GenAI use cases.
• Troubleshoot product behavior, data inconsistencies and API issues, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on LexisNexis data products, APIs, licensing and content availability.
• Assist with customer onboarding, including API credentialing, sandbox environments and ongoing technical enablement.

Required profile

• Experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, technical consulting or a similar customer‑facing role supporting enterprise technology solutions.
• Proven track record of working with APIs and REST services in complex implementations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide customers through adoption.
