Prep Cook - Darien Lake Amphitheater

About the role

This position prepares and cooks food items in a fast-casual space at the Darien Lake Amphitheater, with the aim of ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing food revenues. It is paid $18.00-$21.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
• Implement and uphold a guest service philosophy and regularly review assignments, business levels and changes with supervision
• Serve only the highest-quality product and keep equipment in good working order and clean
• Follow County Health/Sanitation and hospitality standards, and practice safe work habits
• Rotate to other service locations when needed and perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Ideal candidate is ServSafe certified and at least 18 years old
• Culinary degree or certified apprenticeship, with 2-3 years of cooking experience in contract foodservice, preferably in premium services, catering and concessions at a sports or entertainment venue
• Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
