Premium Supervisor - VIP Stand

About the role

A Premium Supervisor is needed for the VIP stand at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh. The role supervises and coordinates the activities of stand workers, oversees set-up and closing procedures, keeps workstations clean and stocked, and ensures food preparation and alcohol policies are followed. The position is open to someone who can fill any position in the location if needed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stand workers in the VIP area and oversee or take part in stand set-up and closing, including inventory counts, preparation and cleaning.
• Keep workstations clean and well stocked, order replacement stock from runners and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Ensure staff comply with alcohol policies and manage staff so that food preparation meets Legends' and the board of health's guidelines.
• At closing, help count ending inventory, clean equipment and organise stock for the next event.
• Work with the customer service department to improve service, input daily event sheets and reports, and handle area schedules.
• Perform inventory at assigned locations, maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure compliance with service, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Provide personal service to guests, work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, and follow safety policies and report incidents through the company's risk management system.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location.
• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and adapt to change.
• Punctual, dependable, able to read and write English and perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage servers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the POS system, including voids, credit card issues and closing procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services.
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area.
