Preferred Customer Associate – Tue‑Sat 11am‑7:30pm

About the role

The Preferred Customer Associate supports UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics (Marken) by ensuring shipments are monitored, processed, and delivered on schedule. Working closely with internal teams and external customers, you will help maintain high service standards for clinical and advanced therapy logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily shipments to guarantee collection and delivery within agreed time frames.
• Communicate with customers and internal/external partners to build strong working relationships.
• Book and process shipment requests in Marken’s internal database and generate required shipping documentation.
• Liaise with global and domestic departments to meet all customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Marken offices and outside service providers to achieve efficient logistics transfers.
• Enter clinical trial site information into the internal system when needed.
• Handle telephone and email inquiries from customers and internal agents.
• Prepare, verify, and distribute country‑specific project documentation.
• Maintain filing and archiving systems and attend customer meetings or teleconferences as required.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong computer literacy.
• Good understanding of the freight forwarding industry.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and prioritisation skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional weekend coverage.
• Fluent English communication skills.
