About the role

The Practicum Student CW position at UAMS provides a scholar‑practitioner experience where students apply clinical science to real‑world health programs. The role focuses on developing, evaluating, and implementing evidence‑based interventions that address complex community health needs.

Key responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and implement evidence‑based health‑care programs.
Analyze how trauma, illness, addiction, and system involvement affect individuals and communities.
Use findings to inform advocacy, program development, and systems‑level change.

Required profile

Current practicum student approved by Drs. Rohm and Bull.
Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or have an approved exemption.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Commitment to teamwork, diversity, and patient‑centered care.
