Practice & Support Services Contracts & Partnerships Specialist

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning is seeking a Contracts & Partnerships Specialist to manage the financial and contractual aspects of publicly funded programs within Practice and Support Services. This remote position works under the direction of the Director of Practice and Support Services and collaborates closely with program managers and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate financial details of grants, contracts, and sub‑recipient agreements.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Practice and Support Services initiatives and contractor expectations.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of grants and contracts from initiation through execution, compliance, renewal, or close‑out.
• Create, manage, and close purchase orders; process invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors and grantees on budget, invoicing, and contractual matters.
• Collect and submit required documentation for budgetary and legal approval.
