Practical Nursing (PN) Clinical Instructor

About the role

The Practical Nursing (PN) Clinical Instructor will join the Georgia State Government’s health education team on a part‑time basis, supporting students at the NGTC Currahee and Blairsville campuses. You will guide nursing students through clinical and simulation experiences, fostering critical thinking and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and mentor students in clinical and simulation labs.
• Conduct orientation sessions for clinical sites and simulation equipment.
• Facilitate student assessment, data collection, and patient interaction while ensuring safety and confidentiality.
• Hold pre‑ and post‑clinical conferences and grade written assignments.
• Collaborate with course faculty to align learning outcomes and provide feedback on site adequacy.
• Maintain required credentials and complete all mandatory training.

Required profile

• Current RN license with experience in practical nursing education.
• Ability to develop curriculum and deliver instruction.
• Commitment to student safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Willingness to learn and use various educational software platforms.
