Practical Nursing Instructor

About the role

The Practical Nursing Instructor will join Ogeechee Technical College to deliver high‑quality instruction for the Practical Nursing Program. This full‑time faculty position supports student learning through classroom, laboratory, and online environments, aligning with state and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop weekly lesson plans that meet established Student Learning Outcomes.
• Deliver course content using effective oral and written communication.
• Create and maintain course materials in the Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Assess student progress, assign grades, and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation requirements.
• Advise students on academic and career pathways.
• Participate in recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives.
• Contribute to budget planning for instructional equipment and supplies.
• Serve on committees and engage in college and community projects.
• Engage in professional development to enhance instructional methods.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Nursing or related discipline.
• Active, unencumbered RN license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Commitment to student success and educational excellence.
• Minimum three years of clinical or teaching experience in nursing.
