Powder Coating Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

About the role

Industrial Coatings Africa is seeking a full‑time, hybrid Sales Executive/Business Development Manager to drive growth of its powder coating and industrial coating solutions. Based in Maryland, the role blends on‑site client visits with remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment and general industry sectors.
• Prospect, qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and deliver technical sales presentations.
• Recommend coating solutions that meet performance and environmental requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and prepare accurate quotations.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure correct specifications and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, attend industry events and maintain long‑term customer relationships.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in industrial coatings, powder coating, paints or chemicals.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical product information.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Solid relationship‑building and account‑management capabilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess client needs.
