Postdoctoral Research Associate – Healthy Living Program

About the role

The Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture (IHA) at Texas A&M AgriLife seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Healthy Living team in Dallas. The role focuses on community‑engaged research aimed at promoting health and reducing chronic disease through agricultural and nutritional interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Healthy Living team and external community partners on research projects.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis, and interpretation for studies on food access, nutrition, and health behaviors.
• Prepare and disseminate scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
• Support grant development and reporting activities.
• Manage multiple research priorities in a fast‑paced academic environment.

Required profile

• Post‑doctoral level experience in health, nutrition, agriculture, or related fields.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently while exercising professional discretion and judgment.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with community stakeholders and academic collaborators.
