Postdoctoral Fellow – Women’s Heart Health Lab

About the role

The Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Women’s Heart Health Laboratory. The lab investigates neural, vascular, and hormonal mechanisms that regulate cardiovascular function and blood pressure in women throughout their lifespan.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specific research projects from design to execution.
• Recruit study participants and conduct data collection.
• Perform data analysis and prepare presentations.
• Write manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals and contribute to fellowship grant applications.

Required profile

• PhD in physiology, cardiovascular science, or a closely related field.
• Strong background in integrative human physiology research.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Subject recruitment and human subject research protocols.
• Data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation.
• Scientific writing for manuscripts and grant proposals.
