Post-Production Manager

About the role

CatFace, a YouTube entertainment company with 24+ million subscribers, is seeking a Post-Production Manager to own the end‑to‑end post pipeline for high‑volume, fast‑turnaround content across Minecraft, Roblox and other formats.

Key responsibilities

• Own the post‑production pipeline from ingest through final delivery, ensuring quality and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of in‑house and contract editors, assigning work, providing feedback and developing skills.
• Build and refine scalable workflows, templates and asset‑management systems for a daily release cadence.
• Partner with producers and showrunners to protect creative intent while maintaining schedules.
• Track timelines, budgets and contractor resourcing, flagging and resolving bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools or techniques (e.g., proxy workflows, automation) to improve speed, quality and organization.
• Maintain delivery standards for YouTube and Shorts, ensuring final files meet platform specifications.

Required profile

• 5+ years in post‑production, with at least 2 years managing editors or a post team in high‑volume, fast‑turnaround environments.
• Hands‑on fluency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; working knowledge of Pro Tools or comparable audio tools.
• Proven track record of building or improving post‑production workflows.
• Comfortable owning schedules and budgets and communicating trade‑offs to producers and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in film, digital media, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

What we offer

• Salary range $80,000 – $90,000 USD per year, based on experience.
• On‑site work in Austin, TX with relocation assistance.
• Reports to Director of Production.
• Occasional weekend work as needed.
