About the role

Saint Louis University is seeking a Post-Award Specialist II to oversee the financial administration of sponsored research awards. The role involves ensuring compliance, monitoring expenditures, and managing budgets for grants and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Administer post‑award financial processes for all sponsored awards, including fund allocation and disbursement.
• Monitor award budgets, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to sponsor guidelines.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with principal investigators, department staff, and external sponsors to resolve financial issues.
• Maintain accurate records in the university’s research administration system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 24 months of experience in research administration or accounting.
• Strong understanding of grant and contract financial management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
