Porter/Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Porter/Maintenance Technician ensures that the community’s physical environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming. Working on‑site at a stabilized mid‑rise property, you will support the service team by maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities according to Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Collect and dispose of trash from vacant apartments, transfer waste to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Assist with set‑up and turnover of apartments, supporting the make‑ready process.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work the scheduled hours of 8 am – 5 pm, Sunday to Thursday.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods.
