Porter / Groundskeeper – Community Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of The Grove at Woodlake community. You will ensure common areas, amenities, and grounds are clean, well‑kept, and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features are functional.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related experience in property or grounds maintenance.
• Reliable transportation is mandatory.
• Preferred CPO certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to be on‑call Tuesday through Saturday.
