Porter – Community Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Porter to keep the community at The Riverie clean, safe and welcoming. The role supports the service team and ensures that all common areas, amenities and grounds meet Greystar’s high standards of appearance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day, removing litter, debris and pet waste to keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑over.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features are functional.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and report incidents.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic lock‑changing knowledge.
