Pool and Beach Attendant

About the role

The Pool and Beach Attendant position is a seasonal role at Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, New York. You will deliver high‑quality, personalized service to club members across all outdoor activities, helping create the distinctive Discovery Land Company experience.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Outdoor Pursuits SOPs and attend daily briefings and shutdown meetings.
• Stock, clean, and prepare equipment for member excursions and activities.
• Conduct weekly safety checks on beach equipment and ensure compliance with SOP guidelines.
• Assist members with pool and beach equipment, help them in and out of the water, and monitor safety of guests, especially children.
• Engage with members by greeting them, participating in games, moving chairs and umbrellas, and providing towels and sunscreen.
• Support bonfire setups and other recreational activities.
• Help with monthly inventory of stock and tools as directed by the Outdoor Pursuits Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in guest service or hospitality is preferred.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliability in arriving on time for each shift.

Required skills

• CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory).
