Policy Analyst (State Based Exchange)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Policy Analyst to support Georgia Access, the state‑based health exchange. Working under the Policy and Compliance Director, you will help shape and maintain policies that ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while facilitating consumer eligibility, enrollment, and appeals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical policy advice to all business units on consumer eligibility, enrollment, appeals, and partner program requirements.
• Review, update, and develop policy agendas that align with Georgia Access goals and regulatory requirements.
• Research and analyze ACA provisions and federal guideline updates to draft policy proposals and commentary.
• Assist in preparing the Georgia Access Annual Report and coordinate with compliance, reporting, and engagement teams.
• Collaborate with eligibility, enrollment, and administrative divisions on consumer appeals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with three years of experience, or four years of professional experience.
• Ability to obtain any required certifications, licensure, or a valid driver’s license if needed.
