PM Nursery Assistant – Yard Crew Member

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time PM Nursery Assistant to join our Yard Crew in Congers, NY. This entry‑level position supports the Yard Foreman and helps keep our grounds and plant inventory ready for daily installations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Congers grounds and staged plant material.
• Group plant material, hard goods, soil and mulch for next‑day installation runs.
• Track extra or back‑ordered items and coordinate with the Outdoor Purchaser.
• Perform daily care of in‑stock plants, including pruning, fertilizing, watering and unwrapping.
• Collaborate with Yard Team Supervisors and the Foreman to ensure organization, communication and quality control.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate eager to gain professional experience in landscaping.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
