Platform Engineering Lead

About the role

The Platform Engineering Lead will join Infosys Cloud’s innovative team in San Antonio, driving the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud infrastructures. This senior position reports as an Infrastructure Consultant 3 (Principal Consultant – Infrastructure Management) and focuses on transforming client environments through advanced DevOps and automation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, establish monitoring protocols, and perform root‑cause analysis to resolve complex incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive IT infrastructure assessments, identify gaps and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and validate tailored enhancements.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, high‑performance infrastructure solutions across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Optimize deployment pipelines, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and produce detailed deployment documentation.
• Create and enforce robust change‑management processes to minimize risk and ensure smooth integration of system updates.
• Analyze system performance and introduce advanced monitoring and automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior infrastructure consultant or lead in large‑scale cloud projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct detailed due‑diligence and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration.
