Plant/Production Manager – Construction Materials

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of architectural and structural precast concrete, is seeking a hands‑on Plant/Production Manager to oversee all plant operations. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily and long‑range production planning and crew scheduling across all production areas.
• Coordinate labor, materials, molds, equipment, and capacity to maintain efficient workflow.
• Direct day‑to‑day operations for plant, mold shop, inventory, stripping, finishing, and batch plant functions.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to uphold standards and drive productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing plant or production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to set performance expectations and hold teams accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze workflow, labor utilization, and production metrics.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and profitability.
