Plant Operator – Raw Materials & Finished Goods Handling

About the role

Grace is seeking a dedicated Operator for its Lake Charles plant. The role involves handling raw material deliveries and finished product shipments while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards in a high‑hazard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Unload all raw materials used in the plant.
• Load finished product into railcars and trucks for distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, protective eyewear, steel‑toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, and full‑face respirator.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 5 years of experience in a refining or chemical plant, or an Associate Degree in Process Technology.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour shift schedule.
• Ability to work in high‑hazard environments, including adverse weather, elevated or confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
