Plant Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Fidelis Logistics is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead production, safety, quality, and financial performance at its pallet recycling and logistics facility. The role requires a hands‑on leader who can drive continuous improvement and develop high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations to meet production, quality, safety, and financial targets.
• Manage labor planning, staffing, production flow, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Partner with maintenance, logistics, quality, and leadership teams to optimize overall plant performance.
• Develop supervisors and production leaders through coaching, accountability, and performance management.
• Drive cost‑control initiatives and improve plant profitability.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or plant operations.
• 3‑5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors and production teams.
• Proven ability to manage plant KPIs, labor productivity, safety, and financial performance.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting software.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety compliance and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
