Plant Manager – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing operation that produces engineered industrial products. The role provides significant operational autonomy, strong executive visibility, and the chance to shape a growing plant with major automation investments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Drive continuous‑improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Optimize workforce deployment and operational flow.
• Reduce backlog and improve throughput.
• Lead production, engineering, quality, safety, and warehouse teams.
• Partner cross‑functionally with supply chain, customer service, and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven plant leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Background in high‑mix, low‑volume environments.
• Demonstrated success with Lean and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Hands‑on, floor‑level leadership style.
• Ability to lead cultural change within an established operation.
• Engineering background preferred.
