Plant Manager – Architectural Glass Fabrication

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead all glass fabrication operations at the Springfield facility, driving safety, quality, productivity and on‑time delivery. This senior leadership position is pivotal as the company expands its market presence and aims to double its size within five years. The role combines hands‑on manufacturing expertise with strategic planning to scale operations and develop future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant activities including production, maintenance, scheduling and inventory management.
• Champion a safe, clean and regulatory‑compliant manufacturing environment.
• Ensure products consistently meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Develop, mentor and engage team members at all organizational levels.
• Manage plant budgets, control costs and drive productivity improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and manufacturing innovations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support long‑term growth objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in glass fabrication.
• Proven track record in safety, quality and operational performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑development abilities.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or similar methodologies.
