Plant Maintenance & Engineering Manager

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Plant Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead engineering and technical services for its Breinigsville facility. The role oversees controls, systems integration, facilities, capital projects and, where applicable, wastewater treatment and maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of technical systems that improve manufacturing reliability, process capability and cost objectives.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, both capital and non‑capital, to enhance engineering performance.
• Manage sustainability projects such as energy optimization and packaging reduction.
• Oversee financial management of projects, budgeting and capital planning.
• Develop capability to rapidly ramp‑up new products, packages and processes.
• Champion fixed‑asset management, plant layout, flow optimization, FDA/GMP/AIB/SQF compliance, safety and automation.
• Provide people leadership, performance management and act as a change agent to elevate staff capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7‑10 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of employment policies.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
