Plant Engineering Supervisor

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Plant Engineering Supervisor to lead engineering technicians and stockroom coordinators in supporting plant maintenance and engineering activities. This hands‑on leader will coordinate work priorities, drive equipment reliability, and enable continuous improvement across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and daily direction for engineering technicians and stockroom coordinators.
• Coordinate work assignments, priorities, and resources across engineering support functions to meet maintenance and production needs.
• Support execution of engineering and maintenance projects, including system improvements, equipment upgrades, and process optimization.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and timely availability of spare parts and materials.
• Collaborate with maintenance, controls, and other plant functions to support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives.
• Assist in continuous‑improvement activities related to equipment performance, plant flow, safety, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with at least 3 years of experience supervising technical teams.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, engineering support functions, and industrial operations.
• Understanding of safety and food‑safety standards (OSHA, GMP, SQF, etc.).
• Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems.
• Bachelor’s or university degree in engineering technology, maintenance, or a related field.
