Plant Controlling Manager

About the role

The Plant Controlling Manager leads all financial operations for Bosch's Lincolnton manufacturing plant. Acting as a strategic business partner, the role ensures accurate financial reporting, drives cost efficiency, and provides insights that support operational and commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate plant financial performance, including detailed variance analysis versus plan.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify root causes, drive corrective actions, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Lead cost performance initiatives across direct and indirect cost categories.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and long‑term financial plans for the plant.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal entity reporting requirements for European headquarters.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant finance, controlling, or similar manufacturing finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to work with plant leadership and global partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance professionals.
